AKBC is delighted to annouce that the 38th AKBC-KABC Joint Meeting will be held in Brisbane, Australia between the 12th-14th of November. This year's Joint Meeting will carry the theme 'Creating a New Era of Growth: Stronger Together'.

Welcome dinner at Queensland Art Gallery

AKBC members and non-members are invited to join the Korean delegation at the Welcome Dinner which will be held at the Watermall, Queensland Art Gallery on Monday, 13 November 2017 from 6PM -9.30PM.

The Hon. Curtis Pitt MP, Treasurer of Queensland and Minister for Trade and Investment will be the keynote speaker. QAGOMA’s Executive Chef will prepare a menu encompassing all that is fresh, contemporary and local. There will also be special performances by Hanmadang (traditional Korean performance group) and members of the Queensland-Korea Orchestra. The Welcome Dinner promises to be a celebration of the Australia-Korea bilateral relationship at a world class venue, which was a favourite of the world leaders at the 2014 G20 Leaders Summit.

The cost of a table of 10 is $2,250 +GST and individual tickets are $250 +GST.


AKBC Corporate members

Each AKBC corporate member can nominate one representative to attend the AKBC Joint Meeting and associated functions (including the welcome dinner, but excluding the golf) for no additional charge.

If additional representatives from the member company would like to attend, an additional charge of $1,000pp +GST applies. This includes the welcome dinner, breakfast, Joint Meeting and cocktail reception but excludes the golf.

Each AKBC corporate member is entitled to invite one AKBC non-member to attend the Joint Meeting for an additional fee of $2,000pp + GST. This includes the welcome dinner, breakfast, Joint Meeting and cocktail reception but excludes the golf.

AKBC SME members and individual members

Each AKBC SME member can nominate one representative to attend the AKBC Joint Meeting (Tuesday) for no additional charge.

If the SME member would like to attend the Welcome Dinner on Monday 12 November, an additional fee of $250pp +GST will be charged.

If additional representatives from the member company would like to attend, an additional charge of $1,000pp +GST applies. This includes the welcome dinner, breakfast, Joint Meeting and cocktail reception but excludes the golf.


Golf Round at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club on Sunday 12 November

All AKBC members are invited to attend the golf round for an additional cost of $250pp +GST. This includes transport to and from the Hilton Hotel, Brisbane.

Payment

Payment is not required at the time of registration. AKBC will send an invoice following the receipt of your registration via eventbrite. Please note your place is not confirmed until payment is received.
